Handmade oversized beds, goosedown pillows and sensuous percale sheets ensure a perfect night's sleep and silk hangings, antiques, quality rugs and pictures all contribute to the beauty of the townhouse, lovingly restored by George & Judy Scott in one of the prettiest, unspoilt ancient towns on the island. The breakfasts too are sumptuous but the real secret of Scott's success is the warm atmosphere and the readiness of the hosts to help you have a wonderful holiday. Newly built for year round use is a Roman style, indoor, air conditioned and heated spa pool with swimjet and Jacuzzi underwater massage bench. The water is non chlorine, double filtered and ionised for maximum clarity and cleanliness and minimum irritation to the eyes and skin. There is also a small bar/bistro upstairs for the use of guests only offering light evening fare. No lift. Highly recommended.
