Tucked away in a residential corner of the historic town of Sóller this charming little casita provides a great base for walkers though the modest, bright gardens can also set the mood for a relaxing summer retreat. Here one can expect local patterns of activity to be different providing a real *indigenous feel as your neighbours are all locals: the sports ground is adjacent (floodlit on some evenings at certain times of the year), the petanque club meet around the corner and the square is merely 15 minutes stroll making it an ideal choice should one wish to do without a car. The Mallorcan owners who have 2 dogs (softies) and a cat, live in the house next door which although adjoins the casita is totally separate. La Casita Ca'n Senat has a small swimming pool (4m x 3m, above ground all one depth, entered by ladders and occasionally used by the owners) as part of the little terraced garden, partially shaded by orange and lemon trees the fruit of which guests are welcome to pick if in season. Entering from the outside terrace leads straight into the living room/galley kitchen area, twin bedroom and newly fitted, spacious shower room. This casita is a proven favourite with many of our regulars, really typifying the "other" Mallorca particularly as the air conditioning/warm air heating unit makes it ideal year round. Note: Resort transfer can only take clients within 100m of house. Private car parking is available for small cars only (eg Ka/Micra) at the end of a narrow driveway.
* We would like guests to know that a neighbour (who has nothing to do with us or our owner) rears partridges in an aviary during the spring on land next to the property. These are turned into the wild at a few months old for sports shooting, an activity practiced in many Mediterranean countries and the UK quite legally.
