A delightfully situated hotel near the residential waterfront of old Cala d’Or, an unlikely haven of peace and quiet in what has become an increasingly popular holiday destination. Delightful breakfasts of fresh fruit salad, pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and traditional pots of tea and coffee are served to the table on the covered porch and lovely sun terrace, conveniently shaded in the summer with views over the port. There is also a small plunge pool on the terrace with swim jet. The bar has a reputation for its unique atmosphere, providing a charming place to start and end the evening as you listen to the accomplished piano playing of the owner, or perhaps a visiting musician! Bedrooms at the Fowlers Hotel either have views over wooded gardens, or panoramic views over the marina and Cala Llonga bay. All rooms, accessible by lift and furnished to a high quality, are en suite and air conditioned (centrally heated in the cooler months). The environment is not particularly conducive to younger guests, though some exceptions may be considered on request. A new addition for 2004 is a dining room offering excellent cuisine in the evening at a modest price. Please note that there is no access to the hotel for guests arriving in Cala d'Or between 0200 and 0730 hrs. Highly recommended.
