Once an old convent, this delightful residence now offers a blend of traditional Mallorquin and modern accommodation and familiar hospitality in one of Mallorca’s most picturesque villages. All the basic bedrooms are en suite (either bath,shower or both), some larger than others, some having views from terraces over the Sóller valley but all with central heating/air conditioning, safe, satellite TV. Breakfast only is served in the dining room in winter, on the terrace in summer, with wonderful views down valley. Among the terraces and gardens are a swimming pool and also a Jacuzzi. Fornalutx has a small selection of restaurants within easy walking distance so residents need not worry that the hotel does not serve dinner. Because of the age of the building and the restoration process, rooms are all uniquely sized with different aspects, some looking out over the typical village street, others towards the mountain and some having a terrace. Specific requirements may be requested but regretfully not guaranteed. A really appealing little hotel, Petit Hotel Fornalutx is in a superb location, ideal for breaks year round and especially good for walkers.
