A haven of tranquillity, well established in the hills behind the port, that is either a 2km walk or 5 minute drive up hill. This old finca is surrounded by wooded countryside in a fairly remote valley overlooking the port and sea and is a brand new conversion restored to a high standard by the Mallorcan owners. The accommodation on two floors comprises : entrance to spacious dining area (has cd/dvd player) to kitchen with microwave and washing machine; 2 twin and one 1 double bedroom that are all air conditioned; bath/shower/bidet/wc and further wc. To the exterior there is plenty of space to lounge in the sun or shade of the numerous olive trees and sea views (albeit diminshed) through the trees. The terrain may not be regarded as suitable for some families with younger children. The terrace around the pool (8m x 4m with steps) offers plenty of room and in addition to the barbecue is a convenient outdoor shower/wc. As a quality hideaway this will take some beating and if you don’t mind the walk back up the hill, it is possible to leave the car behind should one choose to dine in the port. With real fires that the owners provide all wood for, Ca’n Alic is near luxury and a pleasure to stay at year round.
