Beautiful, rolling countryside with mountain backdrop is a joy to behold from the lawned gardens offering near total privacy, the only thing that may cause any disturbance here might be the buzzing cicadas or bleating sheep. Oh and if singing birds aren't your thing then stay well away! Though situtated in on the prettiest valleys on the island, total isolation is a mere illusion, only 15 minutes stroll and you can be in the centre of the characterful village so access to amenities and restaurants shouldn't pose any problem though a car is pretty essential. Leaving the typical Mallorcan town of Campanet on the delightful country lane which leads to Ses Coves de Campanet and the historical small chapel of San Miguel, through breathtaking peaceful countryside with hills and mountains on either side you arrive at this newly and sympathetically restored finca – Sa Creueta. The finca is approached from an unmade gravel lane, through gates to a private drive with ample parking to the side of the house. From the drive you walk on to a shaded terrace with arbour and having a featured restored original well, from which the finca receives its own water now by mechanical means. From the terrace which has table and chairs for alfresco dining views extend across the lawn to the pool (8.5m x 4m) and beyond to fruit trees and a wooded hill as a back cloth. There are sun beds and a sun umbrella and of course a barbecue. The interior is briefly comprised: entrance to welcoming living/dining room; double with en suite shower/wc and 2 twin bedrooms; further bath/shower/wc (has access from the twins); fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Fans are available Pollença is merely 20 minutes drive should the lure of the beach be too much to overcome, want to ring the changes at dinner time or you simply feel the urge to be near the crowds (summertime applies). A lovely villa in a beautiful setting on the outskirts of one of the most atmospheric and typically Mallorquin villages on the island. There is no welcome pack at this property.
